Tomorrow I am discussing CandleTins, that latest range which will be launched soon. We will be selling handmade candle melts and the most beautiful candles in tins. All the fragrances are natural and the colours are simple, pastel shades to reflect the fragrance.
Also sorting out attending a bridal fair as we're branching out into favours which will be candles and smellies all co-ordinated to match the colours, themes and flowers of the wedding - they'll be some in tins, and others in pretty organza tied with ribbons to reflect the colour theme of the day. The bridal fair will also exhibit our t shirts for hen nights and SpaTins for presents for birdesmaids and mother/mother-in laws.

Middle of October and just thinking that it's only four weeks to the first BIG fair of the season, Living North Christmas Fair at Gosforth Races....I have lots of new wool which is beautiful and TasselTins will have their first outing. ChefTins are also proving popular, so it will be all go!
I also now have some shops interested in selling Giftinatin...so I am getting labels printed so they look on the shelves...look out for ChefTins, SpaTins and KniTins in gift shops around Northumberland! They'll also be featured in some galleries and museums hopefully too before not too long.

It's 2009
well it's finally New Year. This year heralds a focus on the website, new products, more advertising and marketing to let everyone know about www.giftinatin.com!!!
In the next few weeks I'll be pushing ahead with the T shirts...getting ready for the wedding time of year, or more precisely, the hen and stag night time of year....buy t shirts for hens and stags, add a message on them, then get them sent out for you with invitations to the hen or stag do! Perfect!
I'll also be at several shows and am aiming to be at the Metro Centrein Gateshead for a few days before Valentines Day - I'll be doing a special Pink Valentines Spa Tin which can be bought as a gift or sent to someone you want to surprise with an anonymous message - more to come on this soon!!!!
The the golf tins will follow shortly as the days get longer and hopefully warmer so we can all head back out to hit a little ball around 5 miles of greenary, woodland and beach terain!!

well...a busy today trying to find out if i can rent a stall at the Metro Centre just for one day....I saw on t'internt that they can charge £1700 a month for one, so we shall see!!
Also trying to get a stall at hexham farmers Market on sat 13th december....it would be great to get one, we shall see!!
The flat is smelling beautiful, so full of spa products!!
Had a complete stock today as it was sooo freezing outside...let's hope some orders will come in tomorrow so I can just mess it all up again!!

This is the first post for Giftinatin.com, my new venture selling personalised gifts on the internet!
There are two ranges available so far: KniTins are knitting kits for knitters of all ages and abilities. Pick from hats and handwarmers, to a ribbed scarf or a more difficult lace scarf, there's also socks and baby blankets, and shortly a baby jacket!
Soon I 'll be adding some legwarmers and a set for younger lads and lasses of hat/handwarmers/legwarmers. In the summer there'll be light shawls and bags and shrugs.
all the wool is from the UK. The Alpaca is sourced from Northumberland and Kent, and the Blue Faced Leicester comes from the Lake District!
The smooth wooden needles are made from Surina wood is a sustainable wood as the Surina tree grows long thorns which are harvested and then shaped into the needles.
Then you add a personalised message which is hand written, popped inside the tin then it all gets delivered either to you or to the person you want to surprise!
There are also SpaTins which come in revive, relax, pamper and treatment tins. These are all hand made treats, with the most amazing aromas from the essential oils and full of moisturising cocoa and shea butters - MMMM!!
Soon to come with Tee ShirtTin which will offer a personalised t shirt with a message, which then gets sent out - these are ideal for hen nights when you want a whole of t shirts customised with a message amd date and then we can send them out for you with the invitation for your hen night/weekend away! All sizes and lots of colours. Also brilliant for special birthdays, work outings etc.
GoflTins is also underway, these will offer for him and for her...lots of lovely golf accessories for those of you who know someone who likes to chase a little white ball around the golf course for four hours... (that's also me...).
So ...so far we have the four things that I like...knitting, spa-ing (not fighting!), golfing and..I guess wearing T shirts!
I want o have quite number of products on the site so if anyone wants to suggest any I would be really happy to hear them!So we had nearly 100 hits on the website today...that's great - we only went live three days ago and started putting the word about so many thanks to all of you who have joined the Facebook site, and for those of you (Amy, Andrew, Gary) who have gone out of your way to tell everyone you know about the website - good work!!!
